The Evergreen Farmers Market is currently Located in Drayton Valley at the Mackenzie Center at the Omniplex 

(5737 45 Ave) 

 Market will run weekly from March-December and is indoors from 

10:30 am-1:30 pm on Wednesdays. 

There are monthly Super Saturdays starting in 2018. January 27, Feb 24, March 31, April 14, May 12, June 16, Aug 18 Christmas in September 29, October 13, November 10, December 15.

New Vendors interested in a table must contact the Market Manager at least 2 weeks ahead to provide paperwork and table deposit. If space is limited or there are too many vendors with similar products you may be placed on a wait list and will be contacted with a start date or your application will be used as on-call for cancellations.

Farmers' Market Youth Leaders & Entrepreneurs

There is space at the market for Kids 11-14 who would like to try running a table. Tables are 6 ft long and 10 will be available for booking during regular or Saturday markets. Contact the market manager for more info and how to apply for the Youth Leaders Grant of $100 to get started.  There must be a 6 week commitment for the grant, so please check with parents if you are able to do the program. Market mentors to assist youth are welcome as well.

June 28     Face-painting & Bounce House (Open Registration for Kids Club)

July 1        Canada Day Registration & Fun Family activities

July 5        Local Library and Community Garden-Walking tour and Planting experience (Grow it)

July 12      Honey Bees Please! Honey samples, coloring books, crafts and guest speaker (Make it)

July 19      Recycle your t-shirts into a Market Bag for shopping-no sew and sew options. (Sew it/Make it)

July 26      Berry Picking (off site activity day-Transportation required) Jam making at CETC- Afternoon activity optional

Aug 2       Wiggle and Giggle -worm composting and crafting-worms & dirt snack (take home vermiculture composter)

Aug 9       Shop the market activity-Make a grocery list, select your products, make a salad meal to take home.

Aug 16     Bread Day-make it and bake it-loaf of bread at the CETC. Recipe cards to take home.

Aug 23      Make your own Ice cream - Strawberry or Vanilla.

Aug 30      Back to School BBQ and customer appreciation day.
